Judge Nedelcheva is the national contact point of the National Judicial Network for International Cooperation in Criminal Matters in the Republic of Bulgaria and a representative of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) in the EJTN\u2019s &#8220;Criminal Justice&#8221; subgroup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Deprivation of Liberty and Detention Conditions in the EU,&#8221; October 10, 2024<\/strong><br>The webinar aimed to provide participants with comprehensive information on deprivation of liberty and detention conditions, viewed from both a human rights and criminal justice perspective. During a special panel, Judge Nedelcheva familiarized participants with the legal tools required to handle cases related to deprivation of liberty and introduced a set of instruments that facilitate judicial cooperation within the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;The European Investigation Order in Practice&#8221; (including digital tools e-EDES), October 10-11, 2024<\/strong><br>This two-day online training focused on improving effective cooperation and mutual trust between European judicial authorities. Key points in the program included issues related to obtaining evidence in complex cross-border cases and the directive on the European Investigation Order (EIO).
