The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) is launching the application procedure for the 2025 Exchange Programme as follows:

Short-term exchanges in EU countries:

  • General exchanges (judges, prosecutors, and investigating judges and court staff) ENG / FR
  • Specialized exchanges (judges, prosecutors, and investigating judges and court staff) ENG / FR
  • Exchanges for heads of courts and prosecutor’s offices (heads of courts, prosecutor’s offices, and managerial court staff) ENG / FR
  • Exchanges for judicial trainers (judges, prosecutors, and court staff) ENG / FR

The programme is aimed at magistrates – judges, prosecutors, and investigating judges, as well as court staff who are motivated to participate in exchange activities and have a good command of the relevant working language. Preference will be given to candidates who have not previously participated in the type of exchange for which they are applying under the current procedure.

Applications are submitted via an electronic form.

If a participant is assigned to more than one exchange, they must choose the one they will participate in. Participation in only one of the specified exchanges is allowed.

Participants approved by EJTN will be notified at the email addresses they provided by the end of January 2025. All other candidates will be placed on the reserve list for the Exchange Programme.

The application deadline is October 31, 2024.
